It is important to analyze our social media performance because it tells us exactly what content is resonating with our audience so we can create more of this content. We can also identify the general sentiment around our product and brand and better understand the demographics of our audience online so we can target them with more relevant content as well. Each platform has its own tools to understand performance and statistics. Unless you have very big audiences, you can use Facebook insights to understand your Facebook performance, Instagram insights as well, and Twitter analytics. Hootsuite and Socialbakers, the same tools you can use for scheduling are also great tools to analyze your social media performance. Another possible tool is using the platform itself to analyze the social media. Of course, the most important on social media platforms is to stay yourself and really focus on providing value to your audience. Always keep asking yourself, is that useful for my target audience? Would it inspire them? Would they find value in what I’m sharing? And this is the most important criteria for success.
