There are three things that make up an entrepreneurial mindset. One is a long term strategy. The second one, sustainable solutions. And the third one, you could call it a big heart. A big heart means you care for people. It changes your attitudes. You take more responsibility for what you’re doing. And I think this is an important thing. So you have this long term strategy. Also, the big heart caring for the people is all about responsibility. To develop your entrepreneurial mindset, you should always think: What is the effect of what I’m doing? And also, if you talk about your business, you should not talk about what you do, but you should talk about what effect you create with your business. And I think this is the entrepreneurial mindset, and this helps you also to define it. And this helps you also to think differently about it.
Business is about making money and entrepreneurship is about making sense. If you’re part of a team, I think this is a way of creating a team atmosphere where everybody feels that he or she is needed and they really can provide something to the whole team. If you’re in a leadership position, I think it’s important that you delegate not only tasks, but also [the] responsibility. And this means that you want your people to grow and you want your people to take responsibility and to make things work and also come up with their own ideas. And also by giving an example, how you can create entrepreneurial spirit in your organization.
