I think there were quite some achievements and highlights of my mompreneur life, but I also have a cofounder, so it was not just in my mompreneur life, but we just had great achievements on our journey. And for me, especially as a mompreneur I think I’m just proud that I could just deal with everything that came up on the way, even when we grew as a company, grew as a business that, I found a way to make it work as a family, even with kids that get sick or need more attention. So every milestone that we celebrated for me was really quite a milestone because I don’t go home and just relax. This is where my work starts.
So what I learned about myself being a mom printer and this whole process was, having a long breath. Especially at the beginning, we were a very small team and I tended to do everything. I also needed to do quite some things myself, because I could not outsource it. And for me, I didn’t come home. And for me, it was just a switch to family life. But I continued working quite often. What I learned that it’s not just a short race, but I really have to do this for a couple of years, always be on the highest level. So there are certain phases where I know that I really need to push through to reach the goals. And there are also certain phases where I know that maybe I can also do with some less deadlines though, in a startup business, you always have tough deadlines, but I really know also that I need to take care of myself. I cannot stay at the office until midnight every day, just to hit deadlines. I really also need to take care of myself to go to yoga and to see my friends. And, yeah, this is what I learned, especially in the beginning, when you like completely excited, about launching a business, then you don’t need pauses, but after a while, I have to know we’re in two and a half years, I feel like, okay, so now we reached this, now I have to read a little bit. So maybe also do some more focused on my private life to Talk to friends and families. I really need this as a balance.
