What works best, whether you do it online, my guest speaking now, or whether you do it face to face? In my experience, both are equally effective. The only difference is what your client prefers. I have some clients that really prefer to mix it with some one-to-one and some on-screen, and some [actual] actually face to face. Over time they then have to move more online because it’s so much more convenient. But in terms of whether it’s more effective to be online or real, it’s both the same for me. There’s no difference.

Widely Used Coaching Formats

One of the great aspects of coaching is that you can do it in different formats and this diversity allows you to get great results. Depending on what best suits your style and your business, we provide you with some of the basic formats that you can get acquainted with for your coaching business.

One-on-one Coaching is the most common format of coaching and it is done by you, the person trained to coach someone in a particular topic and can then share your skills with another.
Workshops and Group Coaching can be a powerful method for many people to benefit from your coaching process. This group coaching can be done in the form of workshops where you set up a full day or more for your participants to come together, learn and participate in your specialization.
Online Courses is another format you can utilize for your coaching business. It’s an organized way for your clients to follow your coaching process. You can showcase your skills and your knowledge through recorded videos or written outputs that your clients can keep for a long time and can go through at their own pace.
Mastermind Coaching is a spin-off on group coaching, but it is designed more for bringing together only a couple of clients, usually entrepreneurs, that come from different industries. This kind of coaching will allow your clients to discuss personal or professional challenges while sharing their own experiences to help others in their own challenges, all while moderated by you, as the coach.
Retreats are another powerful format of coaching which creates a more relaxed and peaceful environment for your clients. It allows them to get out of their current state, reflect and meditate. This can be a really life-changing format for some.
