Until you don’t have an idea about the name of your website, you’re not worried about the web hosting. So this is what happened to me that I did first the domain registration, then I got my web hosting. But of course, if I could come back, I would do everything on my web hosting. I did this research looking for many web hosting services and I did a comparison and then I chose. Anyway, of course, I chose following these criteria: their cost, their customer support, because it’s really important to have a good customer support. You can do just with a click the copy of your backup the duplication of your website. So I found quite easy to understand, to use, even if it’s really something geek, the web hosting. But for me, it was quite easy.
When I was looking for my name, really I spent a lot of time trying to find the best name. I knew that I wanted the art word in my domain name, and this was really difficult because every kind of combination, extension of the words was already taken. And my advice is anyway: do researches also before to register your domain in the mark registers, because if you think to have found “Oh, there is this domain free” and you say “Oh yeah, I like it, I register it”. And then after you go on with your project, if you discover that someone has registered a mark that has a name similar to yours can be an issue, can be really an issue for you. Because there are brands and companies that they open an legal issue, just because your name is similar to their name. So pay attention when you register a domain to check before, not just if the name is free in the domain of registers, but it’s free in the mark register. I think that the name will really come from thinking better to your business idea for your project and which kind of benefit you want to bring in the life of people. Listen better really to the core, to the heart of your business idea and I’m sure that you’ll find the best name. For me was this, I decided that my main scope was to make contemporary art easy for everyone. I wanted to create one word starting with art and I found temperature and was thinking “Oh, yeah. Temperature is something like everyone is speaking about weather every day. It’s a daily subject. And in the main time for me was “Oh,I want to be a unit of measure of the artwork.” So I’m like “Yeah, This is fantastic!” Think in terms of which kind of benefit you can bring to your customer, and then the name will come.
