How Intuition Helps Entrepreneurs to Succeed

I think what’s really important is that, especially as an entrepreneur, of course, you’re looking at other people doing similar things. I can tell it from my perspective as a coach, of course, you look at other coaches for example, and then you see they have a YouTube channel where they do their videos. They have a podcast, they are going live on Instagram. I dunno, every other day, they’re posting daily. So you see all these things that different coaches do or different people in you, whatever your profession is. I think it’s really tough to not fall into the trap of trying to do it all because other people are doing it and they seem to be successful in it.
Not to say that I already mastered everything or that I’m perfect in this, but I think the key to [success] succeed is to find your speciality and this like what makes you special on this and is not necessarily by doing all the things. It’s great if you try all the things that you think are necessary, but falling into the trap of trying to please everybody by doing all the things, and then, therefore, thinking that you’re doing it right, that is usually not working.
So you want to find the connection to your intuition to actually find that one thing that works for you. So for example, if you’re a coach, in my case, is the podcast, or maybe in your case, it is posting daily on Instagram or going live daily or doing the videos.
You can’t really tell by another successful person, what’s the essence that they do that would help you do the same because, for you, it could be something completely different that actually works. Maybe you’re a person that is amazing in front of a camera. And so that’s something that you should proceed doing, but maybe you don’t even like kids. So why would you continue to do something and put energy into something that is not serving you?
Because it certainly will not serve your business if it’s not really connected to you.
So that is why intuition is so important when it comes to entrepreneurship is because you want to listen within to see, first of all, how your project is serving people, of course. And by that, I don’t mean the analysis or you know the strategy.
I really mean listening within and trying to see, okay, how does this help people like on a hard basis?
And then [the] second thing, how do I feel about it? And those things have to go together. When you think about serving people and then you find what it is, but then it doesn’t really sit right with you and it doesn’t really feel right. It’s not enough to do it just because it serves people. It needs to sit right with you too. So it has to have those two components to actually be tied together and work together.
