If you’re able to figure out the worst scenario and you are also able to predict what is going on.  In many startups were you say, you listen about “fail fast”, fail fast is absolutely true. So don’t have fear to fail because this give you the very, very most learning that you can catch, in your entrepreneurship life. I’ve failed a lot in these years, changing my mind continuously, maybe. The very important things is that you learn because you have to see what you are doing as an experiment, a constant experiment. And important things in experiments is not the results, is what you track about the experiments so that you can improve and the next one you can get better and better and better till you get to the results that you want. That maybe it’s not perfect, but is the objective that you have to point is not the result. I want to reach that. Okay? So I will do everything that I can to reach that results. And the way you reach is a full of failures and full of a new learnings that you can do. I think that’s the best sentence and the best school that we can mention is that from Thomas Edison, he said that “he has failed 700 times, but is not failing, he found 700 the different way of not to do what they want to do”. This very important point of view. And consider for example, the, the story of the founder of Moz. If you buy his book that is “lost and founder”, you will find the constant, failure that he has done in his entrepreneurial life. You have just do it.

Measurements that I use to say stick to the present is the bank account. If you’re not earning, if you see that your entrepreneur activities is not running very well, you see that from your banking account – customers are not arriving and you feel the urgency of doing something. And if you are not going to to do something to stop the situation, to increase the revenues, you are going to fail  even worse if we can say. So, this is the very thermometer thing on how the activities going and how I have to find new ways, how I have to find new overcoming activities so that I can pass the situation and stuff to, to turn it in, in positive what is going on.

We have to take failures just as experiments. So we have to take note of any kind of experiments that we are going to do. And once a day, not focusing on the very results, but about, what we have learned from the experiments. If we track that we are able to change and find the different ways to reach what we want so that we can say is it worthy or it is not? And again, and again till you reach the results that you want.

Start-ups needed to be lean and lean also in the mind. So pivoting is something that is completely normal for start-ups – Airbnb pivoted I don’t know how many times, 15, 20 even more maybe. You have to to consider that and what I experienced it on myself. AI for marketing was an AI for marketing aimed to the travel industry. However, I find that after more than one year, almost two years, that the business model doesn’t work because it’s in that field the people are really old fashioned at the end and they prefer investing in other things. We found that the technology was our core. What we created was unique but our target is wrong and the business model is wrong. How we can fix that? So we moved addressing a new field and in this way, in that way we are reaching to get interested in it from investors because there really is a vain in that, in that field that everybody needs to communicate better because otherwise you are going to pay a lot of money in advertising. And you need to invest in reaching the right kind of people, and that’s what ghost writer does.

Wow, Ester made some powerful points in her speech and it is worth summarising her suggestions on processing worries!

Below are 4 Main Tips To Conquer Your Fear Of Failure

1. Imagine the worst-case scenario

To diminish the power that your fears have over you, think of the worst-case scenarios that could happen. With those scenarios, reflect on them, acknowledge their existence, and think of ways you can handle such scenarios should they happen. When you look your fears in the eye and dig deep into them, you take back some of their power.

2. Understand that failures and mistakes are part of your growth

We learn the most from our failures and mistakes and not our big successes. Failure means that you take risks and give them a go. Without failure, there are no mistakes. And without mistakes, there's no opportunity to learn. If you don't put yourself out there then how can you expect to grow? Be gentle to yourself and appreciate failures as part of growth.

3. Focus on being in the present

It's so important to live in the present moment. It is especially helpful to have this kind of mindset for those struggling with anxiety or stress in their daily lives. Being in the present means living in the here and now. It means being aware and mindful of what is happening around us at the present moment. But how can you do this? First, try to think least about the past and focus on it only for a reason. Think least about the future as well and focus on it in a healthy way that may be related to your goals that motivate you in the present. With that, stay in the present moment for the majority of your thoughts. Let go and stop thinking. Practice savoring every moment. Focus on your breath and be mindful. Find your flow. Above all, improve your ability to accept that there are some things you can't control.

4. Rephrase the fear

Think about how fear makes you a better person. It makes you stronger as a person and as we’ve mentioned, it provides you with learnings that can help you to ultimately grow. So don’t think of fear as something scary but as an opportunity for you to become ultimately better!
