And today I want to make this workshop not only about clarity, about goals, but the element of authenticity and to explore together what is authenticity and what it has to do with goals and what this has to do in general as entrepreneurs and as female entrepreneurs. So what we’ll be doing today is a breathing exercise just to tap in where we want to go, and we will put an intention, which is very important, doing anything. And we will see what goal setting is in terms of entrepreneurship and management, which is different in terms of mindset. And that’s why we will tap into authenticity and we will see why it’s very important to have this authenticity as an entrepreneur. And then we’ll go to a meditation. And after the meditation, we will do the values exercise. We will work on one value. And I will leave you with open questions and open exercises to extend on that and apply that to your business and I’ll explain this entrepreneur, like even if you’re not having a business, an entrepreneur mindset is still there.
So about me, I am Laura. I am a Mindset coach. My mission is to transform doubts to holistic success in my background and my background is in the sustainable development sector. I’m still working on it and this is where I worked before, I am a global mindset. I worked and lived in four continents, and I am a big fan also of innovation and technology. So now I want to invite you for a breathing exercise. And before this breathing, I want to make the intention for today. Or actually I want to share my goal for today, my goal today that each one of you participating today will receive a value to reach your own clear and authentic goals. So to do that, I want to ask you to also connect with me and have an intention.
You can say it out loud, you can say it within your mind, but it is very important that we can connect together. And the intention, I will say it out loud, I would love it if you can repeat it with yourself or cross loud or silently. And the intention is I am here to connect with my true self, to clear my professional and personal goals. So it’s very important we communicate this to our minds, our all right. And now we want to go to the reading exercise and this breathing, although as read it can be, this is where we really want to tap in together in this webinar or in this workshop. So I also want to invite you, if you can smoothly close your eyes and we will do three breaths each breath. We want to release something that we don’t need today. So with the first breath, please breathe from your nose to your lungs, to your stomach, and release every emotion that does not serve you with a second breath from your nose to your lungs, to your breath, and to release every thought that does not serve you. And with the third breath, from the nose to the lungs, to the stomach to release every energy that does not serve you.
Alright? So you can slowly open your eyes. And now with this energy, we want to start first. I hope you have access to pen and paper or your phone or anywhere to take some notes. And spontaneity is very welcome now. And I want you to first put, just don’t think about it. This is the most important, you don’t need to think about it. You just put what is crossing your mind. And if the answer is, I don’t know, this is also an answer. So I want you to write two goals that cross your mind. One goal is for your professional life. And you say that like, this is what I want for my professional life. And the other goal is for your personal life. And this should be very spontaneous. And as I said, I repeat if it’s I don’t know, this is also the answer.
So I will give you some moments to write your goals. All right? Has everyone written their goals? I am checking the videos. All right. So now I want to say why we’re doing this and why authenticity. Because as you would face as an entrepreneur or in your life, you might have a goal, you might reach it or not. But the thing is, what we want to avoid here and what we want to reach, that it can happen, that you reach these goals, but you’re not satisfied, you’re not fulfilled. And I would give an example that I want to, for example, to work in this certain job, and I got this job, and after a couple of months, I’m not satisfied with it from an entrepreneurial perspective. Also, I want to work in this niche, and I am successful in it.
I’m working on it, but I’m not motivated to do more. And this is one of the reasons why this happened, because it’s not coming from your authentic steps. So you do set goals, and in the long term, whether you achieve them or not, it’s not fulfilled. And this is why, what we are doing today. So it’s a process. And this process, first we will do to eliminate distractions, which we did. Now because we are belief beings since we were born until now, we have so many belief systems that can distract us from connecting to our true self. And this is what we want to reach first, connecting with the true self. Then I use a new linguistic programming for this meditation to first bring about the authentic personal goals and bridge that with the authentic professional goals we’ll work with once today. And this to bring all clarity. This clarity does not only guarantee success for you, it’ll guarantee a fulfilling success when you’re reaching that, your feelings are also satisfied and doing your purpose and your mission.
So this is why okay? Before I go deeper I want to just clear some definitions. First, when I say mindset about anything, this is the accumulated beliefs, which form perceptions, the whole beliefs that you had since you were born until now. It’s a mindset, and then you can specify it for everything. So your mindset about your own work or project is what you believe it’s and about entrepreneurship. So in entrepreneurship there is a calculated risk. There is some sort of innovation. And innovation is not invention. There is a plan and there is an action. And why am I bringing this up now? Because we will step so much within the mindset of an entrepreneur and in the mindset of the entrepreneur, what is possible for a risk? What is possible to innovate, what is possible to plan or do, which is also the goals or action to do. This is where we are also focused today. It’s about the mindset of entrepreneurship under these four areas. And I wanna be clear about the entrepreneurship mindset, it does not necessarily mean that you own a business. So not every business owner is an entrepreneur because you can also own a business, not be an entrepreneur, or you can be an entrepreneur and not own your business. So it’s a mindset.
And this here, now I want to say the difference between an entrepreneur mindset and the manager mindset. And before I go to the, I’m not saying there’s a better mindset or a working mindset, both are important whether you have a business or not. But they are different. And this is where authenticity will play a role. I’ll start first with the manager mindset, which is very mainstream. We get it from working in jobs, we get it even in school. We get it in so many, mainstream general, life paths in our experience. So if you are familiar with the smart goals, so this is also under the manager mindset. You put measurable goals, achievable goals, and then you have a competitive mindset. You want to win or lose. You want to be top of something, top of class.
You want to bring with your colleagues. You have this competitive and you also, you are looking for market resources. What is, or in general resources, what is available that I can do? And it’s a past based mindset because you take about lessons learned, what has happened before that I can do what, what data do I have that I can make a decision? But when you’re an entrepreneur and you want to have an entrepreneurial mindset, the process and the beliefs are different. You cannot predict because as an entrepreneur, you might be introducing something new. And this needs and mindset to shape things and change will be coming. And you want to plan this, change an entrepreneur, things in collaboration, everything is an asset and value for an entrepreneur. You don’t really compete with others. You add value and you bring about value. You are based in the future. You have the vision. Of course, you need the past based mindset to have the quantitative, but you also would have a vision where it did not happen. And from this perspective, from this mindset to have a creation mindset, to have a collaboration mindset, to have a future mindset, the way you set goals is different.
And this would bring me now again to the authenticity. So we, talk about why as an entrepreneur you would think differently and this, that brings us to what is authenticity. So here I wanted, okay, I’m doing this here. Here I wanted to bring authenticity from a true perspective, which I mostly work with from science and from philosophy, from science, authenticity. Actually, this was posted four days ago, and there was a study done in Harima University in Japan about the effect of people who experience confusion in their identity and the people who do not experience confusion in their identity and how their brain works. So these are consistent, here are the people who are authentic and these inconsistent. Here the people are inauthentic. If you are interested more in scientific terminologies and analysis, you can find the whole article here.
And you see how through this research they proved how to be authentic. You have this constant and it has an impact on your memory. So this is just one perspective, how authenticity is relevant to identity. So they defined it to answer your question, who I am, and the consequences are the benefits of it. And in philosophy we have like, authenticity is a very, very, very old or since history, authenticity is described through different, and I wanna just go very quickly through some ancient philosophers. And what they thought about authenticity, for example, was he said like, it’s from your natural self. And authenticity is external, it’s environmental, whatever you get from external, it’s not authentic, whatever form is authentic. Here we hit, he said that choosing one, your own experience and your identity, which is matching with science also, he said authentic authenticity is taking full responsibility of your life choices and action.
So the anxiety or angst, which from realization of inescapable freedom is integral part of authentic living. What he means here is that you only take the responsibility of your life when you claim your own responsibility. You claim your own authenticity. It’s very inspiring to see that. But we’re talking about authenticity at all. Like I want to invite you as well, just with some brain storming some words like what do you think? Authentic authenticity. When you say, oh, what’s an authentic person? Or I feel authentic. This is just giving some words, like from brainstorming, because again, we’re talking about authenticity, so it makes sense to make your own definition about it. So I also want you to take some notes about just giving three, four words, what is authenticity for you? I’m checking videos that make sure everyone is taking their time to write, right? So everyone is ready.
All right. I did all this introduction to get to this meditation, to just introduce why it is important if you want to be an entrepreneur or if you are an entrepreneur, to have authenticity in your goals and the thoughts about it. And now I want to invite you also to this meditation. We already made the intention for it, and I hope it’ll be a fruitful journey for you. And we can start this meditation first by taking awareness to our bodies and taking awareness of what we’re doing now and this workshop we’re doing now, and slowly closing our eyes. As you slowly close your eyes, I want you to take a deep breath from your nose to your stomach. I want you to release every emotion, every thought, every energy. Now you slowly in your favorite place, you’re observing your favorite place, you’re enjoying your favorite place, you’re looking at the details of your favorite place, you feel calm, connected, real enlightenment. The more you observe your place, the more you are relaxed. Now, while you are in a favorable place, you start connecting with your true self. As you connect with your true self, you release yourself from all other people.
As you connect to your true self, you disconnect from all people. You know, as you connect to your true self, you let go of all the experiences. You know, as you connect to your true self, you let go of all the memories that you know. As you connect to your true self. You release all the emotions, all the thoughts, all the energies that you know. As you connect to your true self. You release all your untrue knowledge from every self in your d n you are connecting with your true self. Now, it doesn’t matter how it is, you’re connecting with your true self. As you are connecting with your true self, you ask your true self, what goal do I want? What goal do I want in my life? You download this information, you enjoy observing it. You enjoy knowing it. It becomes more clear to you. It becomes more true to you. You thank your true self for always being there and for always being. Take a deep breath, start connecting with your body. Take another deep breath and you can slowly open your eyes. Welcome back. I want just one person. If, just to share some insight for others who would like to do that. You can raise the hand just very quickly, so we can go from, but just it to bring about the energy with others.
Hi, thank you so much. I really, I try to enjoy the meditation, but I have a question because my head is so full of thoughts lately. I don’t know, maybe later on now, do you have a tip? How to open myself up for receipt better? Because I really love the picture about downloading the goal, but I could feel that there’s so much clutter that I wasn’t able to download.
Yes, but this is like, it’s the first step. So when you do that, the clutter, because now you remove so much clutter that there is more. So the more you’ll do it, the more you’ll release this clutter. But this will give you another awareness. Like, I have a clutter, but this is not something negative. It means like, I am engaging so much. So you would do this meditation a second time, a third time, it doesn’t matter, but it’s like, maybe it’s not nice that what I will say, but it’s like a room full of mess and you want to do that and that. So the first day you did a little bit, and the second day you did a little bit and the third day. So the purpose here is not truly the goal. Get there, the purpose here is to start, to start to take the initiative to cleaning, to connect to true self. It’ll not take long. This is from my own experience. And the clutter is every day, mostly it counts every day we bring thought about. But taking just five or 10 minutes a day to do this awareness, it’ll help to connect. And once you are connected, it’s like a click. You’re connected. So then you can reconnect very easily. And other than that, I wanted to ask, I want to ask you, did you get any insight or it was more Okay, I have so many thoughts to recap.
Mm. I mean, I have a goal. I wrote it down before. I’m not sure if it was downloaded, but it’s there. So, but like, what I really liked about what you said is like, it’s okay to have clutter. It’s not something about to be erased.
Yes. All right. So I’ll continue here. Let me do it. And now we want to tap in the authentic values. So we put one goal and we connected or on the path of connecting to our true self. I want to talk now about an authentic value. And these questions are also in LP questions just to trigger your values. So, as you have a pen and a paper, I hope with you, now, I want you also to put the most important value in your personal life. It’ll just pop up. And if it’s not, just see what the first thing will pop up. Like, the most important value for you. What is your most important value? And I mean the value that it represents, the value that you really believe in. So it’s about belief. What is the most important value in your personal life? Like, as you.
And if there is something popping up and you say, oh my God, this is not a value. Everything can be a value. It doesn’t matter what is it? Because your brain always answers something. So we wanna see what is this something? Because this would, this is what’s shaping your life now. So let me check, has everyone written their value? Okay, I want to, this will be more interactive if someone wants to volunteer and say their value, and we can go do the questions together. So if someone wants to volunteer, you can put your hand up.
Okay. To be honest, I have three main values. Okay. That I think they like they go, they go along with everything. My career, my family, my relationships with myself, everything.
So can you tell me the top priority of it?
Loyalty.
Loyalty. So I want to go with you and I really want to invite you to a little bit of transparency and with yourself, because this will help you so much. And I wanna ask you from where you got from where you received this value. Like when you say loyalty is the most important value for me. Because everything we have, we took it from somewhere, either from parents, environment, caregivers, friends. So from where did you receive this value?
From my family, basically. This is like number one from my loyal customers.
And also from myself and some close friends, of course.
Okay. And from originality, where’s the origin of this? Who was the first of these people? Who was the first who gave you this value?
I’m guessing my parents.
Okay. Yeah. So you got this from your parents?
Second I wanna ask you, and by the way, I’m inviting everyone to go with this. So why is this very important for you?
It’s very important because I believe that I am a very, very loyal person to my family, to my business, to my work, to my friends. I feel that this value is extremely important in one’s life because it expands to different emotions like security, like love, like support, like motivation. So I think this value spreads a lot of branches underneath it. Yes. Which are all also important, but it’s the main, like it’s the main value.
Yes. And you said also because you are loyal, so you believe that because you are loyal also, you would like to perceive that from other people as well yes?
Yeah.
Okay. And what would your life look like if you always lived within this value?
It would be perfect.
And if not?
If not, I need to be aware of who’s gonna be loyal and who is and who’s not gonna be.
Can you explain more?
Yeah. So like, you know, in life, you meet people, some might be loyal to you, some might betray you or like, do something that you wouldn’t do to them, for example.
Okay. And this, what will make you like when you want to see that this what you’ll be.
No, of course I don’t wanna see that from anyone.
But I mean when you, like, when you are checking , some people are loyal, some people are not. You would be what, what feelings you would have.
Betrayal of course. Dejection, unsupported.
And what is the contrary of that?
What do you mean? Like what’s the result?
No, the contrary. So this is the worst. What you, that has happened, the betrayal, the what you said and what is like the other contrary of that?
Okay, let me think.
If you want to make it perfect. Okay. This is like, this is what it would look like when it happens. This is how I would be, as you said, and I want the perfect scenario of it. How it looks like.
I think it’ll boost confidence because you’re gonna have a lot of motivation, a lot of support, a lot of people that care about you.
Yes. Amazing. And I ask you all this just to get what’s more important for you. Confidence and people treating you the same or loyalty.
Loyalty.
It’ll be on the
Top. I say again. Yes.
So this is how you know if this is an authentic value or not. You wanna see words’ origins, okay, this gives me confidence, this gives me, is it more important than confidence or not? No. Loyalty. So it’s my real value. Okay. I don’t want to be betrayed. This is what means I want security. Is it security or loyalty? No, it’s loyalty. So we did all these questions to know that is this a real authentic value or not? Because sometimes it can happen and maybe you can do this exercise because we started with your priority with other ones and you’d see from where they’re getting. So apparently for Stanley loyalty is a real authentic value. It is very clear from where she’s getting how her life is looking with it or not. So what I wanna invite you, and thank you very much for sharing, thank you.
This and your energy and what I wanna ask you to go with value, that you write with these questions. Why? Because when you know where it’s coming from and why it’s important, and you see, because it can happen that we took values that are very powerful for us, like loyalty that from family, from environment, however it can happen that we took values that can really disturb the, I’m speaking German, that can really, confuse us and even have a reversal effect on us. And this is why it’s very important to have an authentic value. And these questions will give you the answer. So by sharing this presentation, maybe for the time, this will not give you the time to really go through. So within your values, you’ll ask yourself their origins and finding their origins and importance will answer you if they are really your authentic values. So now I want you to go to the first goals that you wrote, and we did a meditation for tapping with our inner self. And we understood a little bit about what values they are. And I also want to invite another one if someone would like to participate and tell us about, I need to make this meeting to see everyone and tell us if, how it feels like from the goals in the beginning and the goals now after this exercise or after this insight, does anyone like to share this? You can put hands up or hands up.
Okay. Yeah, I’d like to share that it’s really helpful with the discovery of that important value because now I feel more supported with my goals. Also my value is visible so I can see that this value is kind of the base for my goals. I kind of discovered it. So? Yes. That’s really nice.
And do you like to share what goals you wrote in the beginning?
I can do, like the first, the first goal was to build my own company, to inspire other people. So that, and my value was excitement. So, I felt like, wow, that is really like the base why I want to build that, because I want to share my excitement with the world. So that was kind of really matching.
So, and when you ask yourself why it is important for you to share your excitement.
Because I then feel like I can give value to my surroundings to other people to help them support them and express.
So I’ll ask you the same question, which is more important, giving value or excitement to you? And this you should answer to know your authentic value then you know your authentic goal.
Yeah, I would say excitement. Like, for me excitement, it covers a whole bunch of feelings, I would say.
Wonderful. Yeah. So with this excitement, how would you set your goals for your business now? How would you write your schedule for the day?
Yeah, I would be really excited in the morning.
How you switch your goal that’s building your business and you add the value of excitement to it.
Yeah, it would be more powerful and I would have more energy to focus on it.
I would try to tap in that energy of this excitement maybe with my favorite music or dancing, I don’t know. And then start with what I want to do for my goal.
Yes. Thank you. Just knowing that she would do some music or some dancing while you, business. That sound, that might sound obvious or okay, this is maybe just something. Excitement, but the effect of this will do on your achievement and on your fulfillment while doing the goals is really powerful because you’ll be approaching your business or your projects very different with very different energy than would you put a value that is really mainstream or value, for example, you need to work hard or value, you need to do that. And that when you are really doing this exercise and going for the values one by one and connecting them as you connect with the inner self, the way you’ll plan your schedule, the way you apply your goals, the way you’ll plan what you’ll do will be super different.
And the difference is your level of emotion and your level of energy within that, with achieving it or not. And lastly, what I want to share is what we actually did now doing this exercise we just did a part one part of it when you do for your old values, and you would do for five values that are your true values, and then you will do the questions of it that you know they are your inner values. And then it’s using verbs, how you can do these values. For example, she shared her value is excitement. She then added the verbs of dancing and listening. And this is a different level of the value. It’s doing the action of it. And then you need to activate it in your professional life. Okay, I want excitement then I want dancing and I want music, and I want this energy.
How do I implement this and activate it in my professional life every day? And then sharing these values you share through being you are being this person, that you are sharing it, you communicate that you tell your others this is my value and I’m doing it this way. And by doing it again, for example, the loyalty, of course she would be loyal, she would communicate through her business that loyalty is from our values. And she would be doing it now, going backwards. She would also think, okay, loyal, what does it mean? Loyal? Give me a verb for loyal maybe. Uh, she will put what loyalty really means, and she will activate this in her every day that at the end of the day she feels, oh, I was loyal in every, but loyal is a very broad word. So what verb would you do for loyalty? How would you do that?
Verb for loyalty?
Yes.
I told you before it was like it boosts confidence, right?
Yes. But give a verb that you are doing it in action that is not relevant to loyalty, but it activates loyalty.
Like to be fair with my customers, with my work, with
Fairness. Yes. To be fair
Fairness. Exactly
What else?
For example, I have a project, I’m getting a good payment for it. Like I need to give 110% of my passion, of my effort, of my thinking, of my skills.
So when you give your passion and your effort by the end of the day, how would you feel about it? Because you would, can have this, okay, I feel tired, or I’m doing my value because you did.
No, I’m doing my value. No, I’m not tired. I’m doing my value.
And this is the reminder. And this is why it’s very important to work, to know the values and activate them. Because at the end of the day, whatever you were doing, even when you’re working 110, you’ll be thinking to yourself and feeling true to yourself. Like today I was doing my values.
Exactly. And like you’ll actually have a happy and free conscious, let’s say.
Exactly. And we’ll let you do more and expand.
So this is the purpose of this workshop and what would be is that there are some undiscovered values that you might have and there might be some values that you really don’t need, that you got them from some places or some people that are not serving your purpose. And with this I finish my presentation and if you like to know more about what I do, you can go to life fulfillment.de. Thank you very much.
