After leaving an unfulfilling job, our founder Val Racheeva came to Berlin in search of a new career opportunity that could make a positive impact on people’s lives. She started attending entrepreneurship events and quickly noticed the lack of women in the room. Despite meeting many brilliant women with startup ideas, they were holding themselves back due to a lack of support.
To address this issue, Val Racheeva began organizing meetings where women could come together to share their ideas, support each other, find co-founders, and learn from female role models. She recognized an opportunity to use her experience, and leadership skills and apply her values to contribute to positive change. As more women joined these meetings, the idea of Female Founder Space was born in 2014.
Since then, Female Founder Space has organized over 300 events, including workshops, webinars, networking, and co-working days in 13 European cities across 9 countries. These events and workshops have helped catalyze a new chapter in the entrepreneurial journeys of over 15,000 women.
