A strong communicator is someone who is able to build relationships and report and trust someone who’s able to listen deeply. And my personal favorite, it’s someone who communicates with honesty. And I really think this is an advanced game because you don’t want to just be honest. You also want to deliver it in a way that the person can actually receive it. And if you manage to do that, you will create a lot of trust. And I think that’s like one of the key things that you need as a leader.

If you want people to follow you, you need to create their trust, you need to motivate them and you also need to provide guidelines. And I think that is all of that comes through the way you communicate.

Before we talked a little bit about honesty and I think a lot of leaders, they’re not really good at giving honest feedback or they sort of [avoiding] avoid the situation because it feels too uncomfortable. And if you do that, you’re actually withholding important information from your employees. That is things that are really, really critical to their advancement. So, I think, then, if you practice honesty and if you, yeah, if you decide to face this uncomfortable situation, it may be a little bit difficult in the beginning, but you’re, you didn’t really give your employees the chance to, to grow and that will benefit them personally, but it will also really benefit your company in the end.
