Maxie J. is a self-made fashion entrepreneur, designer, and speaker who built a seven-figure brand without investors or traditional retail backing. Born and raised in Inglewood, California, she brings her story into everything she creates — shaping her vision, resilience, and approach to business.

After a career layoff, Maxie took a bold step and launched her ready-to-wear brand, Ellaé Lisqué, in 2014. Over the past decade, she has grown it into a global fashion brand with a curve line, a Los Angeles showroom, and international manufacturing, while maintaining full creative control.

Her designs have been worn by artists such as Summer Walker, Saweetie, and Bebe Rexha, and featured at Milan Fashion Week. She is also the founder of SheCOM Club, a community supporting women in business.
