Stories – Rising Female Founder Stars

Alexandra Jeglitsch, Founder of LUA LAB

Alexandra is a branding and design nerd, digital mind, brand strategist, part-time nomad and founder of the design studio LUA LAB. As their co-pilot, she helps early-stage entrepreneurs and startups take off. In rocket-fast design sprints, she transforms abstract concepts into meaningful user experiences, attractive designs, and character-rich brands that clearly set them apart from the competition. For Alexandra, branding is like a journey – you have to plan ahead, take on challenges, and rise above to succeed. Qualities that she brings to the table as a full-time designer, part-time nomad and adventurer by heart.

Sina Albanese, Co-Founder of Koralo

Sina’s background is in global project and change management and with a passion for sustainability she has founded and grown several startups the last couple of years. Her combined desire to protect oceanic ecosystems and her love for good food has led her on the journey of Koralo – They revolutionise fish alternatives and the food industry at large by creating a natural, delicious, and nutritious vegan fish that is a better choice for yourself and the planet we live on!

Cordula is now 59 years old and decided to be an entrepreneur 3 years ago. She was born in Germany but lived many years abroad. She worked as an art teacher in Germany, a teacher for children with special needs in Switzerland and a development advisor in Palestine. As a single mum Cordula raised a wonderful daughter and gained the capacity to go through challenging life times. She loves to learn and it was always her dream to work and live self-defined, creative and free.

Kate Ringcodan, Co-Founder of CrewBloom

Kate grew up in a very rural place in the Philippines where completing education and getting a good job (preferably abroad) are deemed the most important achievements and a measure of success of someone. Her experience taught her otherwise. Choosing to take a different route after graduating from the university by taking a fully remote job, she has been an advocate of remote work and providing jobs with above market-rate wages ever since then.

Elena Sotres Zapatero, CEO & Co-Founder of IurisTranslate

Elena is a lawyer, economist & sworn translator for German and Spanish. Bubbling over with ideas for new projects since she found her new path as an entrepreneur after almost 10 years of employement in the federal tax administration and international tax consultancy. She was “born” as an entrepreneur after founding Traceable Donations, a reconstruction project in the Philippines. She is the CEO & Co-Founder of IurisTranslate, the reference for legal translations from and into Spanish in the German market. Elena is looking for the way to make Burocratrix become true: a friendly, practical and easily understandable knowledge platform on taxes, finances & bureaucracy aimed at the Spanish-speaking community in Germany.

Eunice Nyandat, CEO & Founder of MBM MyBizMarketer

Eunice is the Founder and CEO at MBM MyBizMarketer based in Nairobi, Kenya. Her first taste of entrepreneurship was as a product manager of Managed Cyber Security Multi-Faceted Product offerings in the US. She went on and became a co-founder of a lifestyle management company in Atlanta, GA. Three years later, she pivoted and founded a Digital Marketing, Advertising and Analytics firm for Tech startups. In 2014, she started to venture into the Kenyan market and fully transitioned to Nairobi in 2016. In her short time in Kenya, she has worked with the following industries: technology, telecom, cosmetics, e-commerce, education, agriculture, and healthcare.
