Carla B. Guttmann is a Canadian director, writer, and coach whose films have premiered at prestigious festivals, including TIFF and Los Angeles. A member of the German Directors Guild, she splits her time between Berlin and Stockholm, focusing on creating layered and pioneering roles for women. Carla has directed and written eight films, including the award-winning dance film “The Double Woman” and the documentary “Making Heart of Fire.” In 2017, she founded A-LIST FESTIVAL COACH to help actors navigate A-list festivals safely and successfully, empowering her clients to make valuable connections and avoid harassment. To date, Carla has worked with actors in 18 countries, prioritizing their integrity and teaching sustainable strategies for festival navigation.
