EMPOWER Project: Promoting Women’s Entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan

EMPOWER is an Erasmus+ CBHE initiative aimed at bridging the gender gap in entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan. By offering accessible, online entrepreneurial training for women—including mothers, housewives, and those in rural areas—the project empowers participants to build their own businesses and become financially independent. Focus areas: Women’s entrepreneurship, digital skills, economic inclusion. Target groups: Vocational learners, young women, marginalized groups. More about the project.

EDIFY EDU: Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in Management Education

EDIFY EDU addresses the growing need for EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion) competencies in modern business leadership. The project equips students and SME managers with critical soft skills through MOOCs, webinars, and work-based learning. The ERASMUS EDIFY Modules are designed to equip learners with essential skills in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), tailored for modern business management. Structured into EDI-specific, transversal, and digital modules, the curriculum supports inclusive leadership and workplace innovation through both online and work-based learning formats. The CBHE SMARTI EMI Handbooks provide a structured, practical guide for educators teaching through English in non-native contexts, focusing on student-centered methodologies, curriculum development, and inclusive, multilingual classroom strategies. Comprising ten modular units, the handbooks support the enhancement of English proficiency, digital teaching skills, and intercultural competence to promote sustainable internationalization in higher education. ​The CBHE SMARTI EMI Curriculum consists of ten pedagogical modules designed to enhance educators’ abilities to teach academic subjects in English within non-native contexts. These modules encompass topics such as communicative approaches, oral teaching skills, research and writing, curriculum development, student assessment strategies, quality assurance, and tailored English language training, aiming to promote student-centered learning and internationalization in higher education. ​See modules here.

The CBHE SMARTI Levelling Tests are standardized entrance assessments used to evaluate students’ English proficiency before placement in EMI courses. Based on their scores across four test sections, students are placed into either a B1-level or B2-C1-level course to ensure appropriate language support for academic success. ​The SMARTI project (Support for Innovative Methodology, Approaches and Tools for Teaching through the Medium of English) is an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) Key Action 2 initiative. It aims to enhance the quality and internationalization of higher education in Armenia and other partner countries by promoting English Medium Instruction (EMI) methodologies and tools. Our team was responsible for the website’s design and development, contributing to its digital presence and accessibility. ​ See websites here.

The DeSIRe project (Development of Soft Skills at Higher Education Institutions of Armenia and Georgia in Compliance with the 21st Century Labour Market Requirements) is a three-year initiative under the EU’s Erasmus+ Capacity Building program. It aims to enhance soft skills education through the development of tailored modules and MOOCs. IPEDU - Introducing Intellectual Property Education for Lifelong Learning and the Knowledge Economy

The IPEDU project (Introducing Intellectual Property Education for Lifelong Learning and the Knowledge Economy) is an Erasmus+ KA2 Strategic Partnership for Higher Education. Coordinated by Limerick Institute of Technology, it aimed to integrate IP education into technical universities by training librarians and staff, developing innovative tools to support teaching. ABioNet – Armenian Network of Excellence in Bio-Products Science and Technology

The ABIONET project (Armenian Network of Excellence in Bio-Products Science and Technology) is an EU-funded initiative under the Erasmus+ KA2 program. It aims to enhance bio-product science education in Armenia by modernizing curricula, launching a Food Safety Master’s program, upgrading laboratories, and strengthening collaboration between Armenian and European universities.
