I’m a little bit frustrated with [the] leadership of today. [The] reason being is that I actually see that, we’re still leading with an old mindset, and I really looking forward to leaders embracing the new. Now, what I mean by old mindset is – is that we’re still performing in a stronger patriarchal format, even though maybe the system organization is changing and new leadership needs to embrace a new mindset. Meaning we need to unlearn everything that we’ve learned so far and [had] have a leader that not only is visionary and has a certain aspect of where the future can go, but also leaders that understand how to nurture teams, understand to lead through the unknown, and not always have efficiency or goals in mind.

Now, what are the qualities that leaders need in future? I think there are, for me three key qualities. One is still remaining in this visionary mind, which I actually would call purpose and we can maybe talk about that a little bit later, but we also need the qualities of presence and compassion, and we’ll talk about those two in a moment as well. Now, do I believe that women are or have space in this? Absolutely, I think that women are totally, uh, needed in this new, uh, way of leading, uh, reasons being are that I think that we as women probably have better access to some of the qualities that I’ve mentioned: being compassion and presence. But, uh, I don’t want to exclude men from those quantities, but I certainly believe that women have a more innate attachment to these qualities and therefore, absolutely vital in the future of business.
