Your personal data (e.g. a title, a name, a company, a house address, an e-mail address, a phone number, bank details, a credit card number and a PayPal address) are processed by us in accordance with the provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act (German Bundesdatenschutzgesetz or BDSG). The following provisions shall inform you about the type, scope and purpose of collecting, processing and utilizing personal data. This Data Privacy Policy shall apply only to our website: http://femalefounderspace.com, an internet site which belongs to WEFOUND World Women Startups and Entrepreneurs Foundation, a non-profit UG (a form of limited liability company in Germany). If links on our pages forward you to other pages, please, inquire there about the way your data are handled in such cases.

 

2. Inventory Data

2.1. Your personal data, insofar as these are necessary for this contractual relationship (inventory data) in terms of its establishment, organization of content and modifications, are used exclusively for fulfilling the contract. For goods to be delivered, for instance, your name and address must be relayed to the supplier of the goods.

2.2. Without your explicit consent or a legal basis, your personal data are not passed on to the third parties outside the scope of fulfilling this contract. Upon completion of the contract, your data shall be blocked against further use. After expiry of deadlines as per tax-related and commercial regulations, these data shall be deleted unless you have expressly consented to their further use.

 

3. Comments and Feedbacks

There is a possibility to write a comment and a leave a feedback. For this, we may request some information from you (e.g. your name/pseudonym, an e-mail address, a website), which we shall use solely for the comments and feedback system. The data are not used without your express consent for any other purpose and will not be passed on to the third parties.

 

4. Web Analytics with Google Analytics

7.2. We use with the Twitter’s Retweet functions the so-called “Social Plugins” from twitter.com, operated by Twitter Inc. 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. a) Google +1 Button Privacy Policy: The Google Privacy Policy describes how we treat personal information of users of Google products and services. The Google Privacy Policy shall also apply to information that you provide when using the Google +1 button. The following information shall apply specifically to our Data Privacy Policy practices when using the +1 button.

b) b) Collection and Dissemination of Information: The Google +1 button allows you to publish information worldwide. You and other users may receive personalized content from Google and our partners via the Google +1 button. Google stores both the information provided by you from the content of the page, as well as the information about the page you viewed when clicking +1. Your +1 can be shown as evidence along with your profile name and photo in Google services, such as in search results or in your Google profile, or elsewhere on websites and ads on the Internet. Google records information about your +1 activity, in order to improve Google services for you and others. In order to use the Google +1 button, you need a globally visible, public Google profile that must contain, at least, a selected name for the profile. This name is used in all Google services. In some cases, this name can also substitute any other name used by you when sharing content via your Google account. The identity of your Google profile can be shown to users who know your email address, or other identifying information about you.

c) Utilization of Information Collected: In addition to the usage purposes mentioned above, the information you provide in accordance with the applicable data privacy regulations will be used by Google. We are entitled to disclose aggregate statistics about the +1 activities of users to the public, our users and partners such as publishers, advertisers or linked sites. So, we may, for example, report the following information to the publisher: 10 percent of users who shared this page with the +1 button are located in Tacoma in Washington State.

d) Your options: On the tab +1 in your profile, you will see a list of contents, which you have shared with the +1 button. You may remove individual contents from this list. You may disable +1 recommendations on the third-party sites from people you know to be showed to you. This shall also apply to advertisements on the third-party sites. The information recently shared with the +1 button is stored locally in your browser. You may request and delete this information in your browser settings.

7.4. The so-called social plugins (“Plugins”) are used on our website by Instagram, which is operated.by Instagram LLC., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Instagram”).

When you visit a page of our website that contains a social plugin, your browser makes a direct connection to the servers of Instagram. The content of the plugin is transferred directly from Instagram to your browser and integrated into the page. 7.5. For viewing and publishing of podcasts, we use the plugin from SoundCloud Limited, located at the address: Rheinberger Str. 76/77, 10115 Berlin, Germany (https://soundcloud.com). This plugin can be recognized by the SoundCloud logo. If you click the “Play” button, the corresponding information is transmitted directly to SoundCloud and stored there. SoundCloud uses the so-called cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer and allow making an analysis of your website usage.
